Our Story
We believe in the right sequencing and pacing of topics
After years of teaching in schools, we became frustrated with the rigid sequence of topics and curriculum, which has not been changed over the past decades, despite changes in syllabus and student dynamics.
Traditional education systems often prioritize the need to complete syllabus fast, leading to difficult topics being taught in a shorter time leaving students struggling to keep pace, finding themselves lagging behind and ultimately losing hope and interest in Chemistry!
Furthermore, when students miss school due to sickness, CCA, etc.. They often miss lessons and usually, no make-up lessons are offered, hence, leaving them huge chunks of content to read up and digest independently.
As a result, students are often left to catch up on their own, making them feel very overwhelmed.
By developing our own curriculum and teaching methods, we have been able to tailor our approach to ensure that each student has:
- The opportunity to learn new concepts in greater depth;
- Enough time to digest the information;
- Adequate practice to crystallize their understanding of the new topic;
- Personal support if they encounter any problems.
This helps to ensure a higher success rate of retaining and applying new knowledge in the future
We believe that students should receive individual attention
After years of teaching, we observed that students don’t receive the individual attention they need in most schools and tuition centres to fully understand the content covered.
Hence, we keep our class sizes relatively small and manageable to include the element of individual attention during lesson time!
Moreover, we break down each topic into manageable checkpoints. This gives the students the chance to catch up, ask questions, and have their misconceptions addressed in real-time before we move forward.

We believe in helping students recognize their potential. Many students who come to us have low self-confidence and feel discouraged due to their prolonged struggles with Chemistry.
Some of them were told by their school teachers that they belong to the worst class in school, thus making them feel that no matter how much they study, they will still not do well in exams.
As educators, this is really painful to hear
